Recently, we experienced and issue in our Citrix environment. We were running XenApp 7.5 VDA on a Windows 2008R2 Server. For whatever reason we started to have an issue where the servers could not be logged into via RDP.
Working with Microsoft Support and Citrix support we determined that the twi3.dll file was the cause of the problem. Apparently in previous versions of Citrix this was a known issue and that it was already patched. In our case, we had to upgrade our VDA from version 7.5 to version 7.6.300 and the problem was resolved.
